to the Landscape Industry

Hortica Publications offers advertising space to businesses that provide products or services to the landscape trades, including books, software, plants, containers, tools, equipment, and supplies specifically designed for use in the horticultural industry. This Web site has been continuously up and running since 1994, and its owner, Joelle Steele Enterprises, has been in business serving the needs of the landscape industry since 1983.

FREE ADS. You can exchange ads of the same size with Hortica Publications.

PAID ADS. The following are flat yearly rates. Hortica Publications does not offer pay-per-click.

AD PLACEMENT. You may choose the page(s) on which you want your ad to appear. The only pages where you may NOT place an ad are on Hortica's selling pages for contract templates, books, and CDs/DVDs (sorry, no room for ads on those pages). On all pages with existing ads, your ad will be placed ahead of any ads belonging to Joelle Steele Enterprises, and will otherwise be placed on a first come, first served basis.

RESTRICTIONS. Hortica wants its visitors to be able to read pages easily and to find information and resources that are important to them. For that reason, we do NOT accept any ads that blink, flash, move, make sounds, or any other devices that slow page loading time; and, we do NOT accept ads for products or services that are not specifically for the horticultural industry (e.g., no ads for ringtones, weight loss products, etc.). In addition, your ad must be linked only to a page on your own Web site that sells the advertised product or service.

AD CHANGES. It is your responsibility to advise Hortica Publications of any changes to your ad link or ad content. If your ad content changes, please send your new ad to Hortica so that we can replace the old one. We will make such changes for you only once per year at no additional charge. Further changes will necessitate a fee of $20 per change.

DESIGN SERVICES. If you would like Hortica Publications to design your ad, there is a one-time fee of $35.
