Sell Your Books, Software, and Other Products
to the Landscape Industry
Hortica Publications markets books and other products to professionals in the landscape and horticultural trades. If you would like us to market your items, here's how we do it:
WEB PAGE. We create a Web page on this Web site for each item you want to market, and also include that item in our master catalog pages.
EDITING. We take all the information you provide about your book or product and make sure it is informative, promotional, and grammatically correct.
IMAGES. We use images you provide of your book or product and place them on your book or product's Web page and in our catalog Web pages.
PRICING. We help you determine a retail price for your item, the best method of shipping, and reasonable domestic and international shipping rates (which the buyer pays). We also collect and file the sales tax.
ORDERS. We immediately send you an E-mail when someone orders your item, and you must then confirm that you have received the order from us and that you will ship the item directly to the buyer within 48 hours (this is standard for Internet sales).
LABELS. We provide a PDF of blank address labels with your return address so that you can print them out onto label forms and hand-address them as needed (optional, upon request).
PAYMENT. We pay you 50% of the retail price for books (the percentage for non-book items may vary) less 50% of the PayPal fee (that's about 1.25% of each order), and we reimburse you the total of all shipping and handling charges. At the beginning of each month you will receive a statement of all transactions for the previous month along with a check for your share of those sales.
FEES. There are NO fees to you other than what is described in the PAYMENT paragraph above.
